What form will your character's NV take? Natasha's NV will take the form of an Android touchscreen phone.

Abilities

Character's Canon Abilities: Natasha is a gifted linguist. She knows several languages fluently such as English, Russian, French, Latin, and German. This allows her to easily assimilate into any mission. Because of her intimate knowledge of many languages, she also knows many customs and will constantly practice certain hand gestures or other social graces to successfully infiltrate the enemy be they foreign. Natasha is an excellent strategist as well, able to look at a situation and figure out the best possible route to accomplish the mission. Out maneuvering the opponent has always been easy for her because she is used to be the "other" - she's capable of thinking like them. When not on a solo mission, she is always the candidate for field commander when a team is considered (except for the Avengers of course).

Natasha's most feared weapon, however, is her body. A trained martial artist, gymnast, and dancer, Natasha's body strength is something almost unnatural. She's very skilled at hand-to-hand combat. With unparalleled strength, she can take down a serious army of individuals without ever being touched. She is able to grapple with the most formidable of foes with her thighs, getting them in a headlock before delivering a blow. Her gymanstic and ballet training gives her excellent balance which is always an advantage in fights, never letting a combatant get the best of her.

Despite her feats of strength, Natasha does know how to handle a gun very well. She is listed as a skilled marksman in terms of sharpshooting and knife-throwing. Natasha's file also reads that she is a master interrogator. One of her proudest moments was when she tricked the god of mischief into revealing what he had planned for Dr. Banner despite the fact that she left herself open to his manipulation in the same breadth. While the boys were fighting, she kept a level head to come face-to-face with the demigod that killed 80 people over two days. Another one of Natasha's abilities is computer hacking. She can hack into almost any computer system without tripping security or firewalls, even though Hammer's system was probably riddled with weak spots.

Conditional: Her dormant ability is vertigo inducement. Much of Natasha's success as a spy - in the more physical sense - is her sense of balance. She will be able to manipulate this for targets, making them confused, unable to stand on their feet, and disoriented. This gives her an advantage to take her target by surprise and disable them faster than she usually can. Since this is a psychic-based power, it will take awhile to develop and at first manifestation, Natasha herself will be effected. It will also be uncontrollable at first - everyone in a room with Natasha will experience vertigo, including herself.

Weapons: Her widowsting which will be around her wrist and a semi-automatic pistol.

History/Personality/Plans/etc.
Character History: Natasha's life in Iron Man 2 and then her background in The Avengers.
Point in Canon: After Thor and Loki go back to Asgard

Character Personality: Natasha is the poster child for self-control. She almost never loses her cool and is almost stone-faced at all waking moments. She even sleeps calmly. This she credits to her training as a spy from an early age. She was taught to deal with her emotions internally and to never show the enemy that they'd reached her weakness, whatever that might be. It's safe to say that if Natasha is visibly reacting to torture, she's pulling your chain. Because of her self-control, she keeps her voice at a constant decible, never raising it unless she's shouting from afar. She does use inflection when she's joking around or something amuses her, but for the most part her voice is soothing. One's voice can reveal weakness.

And it's because of this that her greatest fear is being unraveled, to being found out. Natasha prides herself on being a mystery to nearly everyone who has either heard of her or come into contact with her. No one knows what it takes to crack her for the exception of one person. She doesn't want a single person to know what it takes to get to Natasha's core because chances are it won't be pretty for neither the person nor Natasha if she was exposed. She has seen and experienced plenty of things to make even the most hardened criminal sick to their stomach. However, Natasha doesn't turn this into a tragedy. She knows that anyone from the outside looking in would consider her as such, but Natasha believes her childhood and everything after has shaped her into the person that she is and she is not ashamed of that person.

Her personal shield means she's often a surprise. People assume that Natasha is a one trick pony - that her actions are predictable when in fact they aren't. That's also including her biological sex. Natasha's favorite game is using men's expectations of women against the men themselves. She can pretend she's stupid, incompetent, and any other derogatory trait often attributed to women, only to turn it around on any man who might have questioned her ability in the first place. The image of the docile, quiet creature is one she likes to play often.

Another of Natasha's most notable traits is her loyalty. Her most prolific fidelity is to her partner Clint Barton also known as Hawkeye. He ultimately saved her life, going against orders to assassinate her, and her life has changed for the better. She is recognized not just for her deadliness like she had before S.H.I.E.L.D, but also for her skills that make her a master spy. But her loyalties lie deep for life. She would fight to the death to reclaim any person she is loyal to in the event that they have been compromised or even defected. In a way, her loyalty reveals her possessiveness. Just like with Loki, she would do anything to get back what is rightfully hers.

She's also very determined. Whether this is a by-product of her Russian heritage is up for speculation, but one thing is for certain: her stubbornness is endearing. Natasha can be overwhelmed by an opponent, such as with the Chitauri, but she will brush off her reticence and get right back into the brawl. When you give Natasha an objective, she will stop at nothing to complete that objective. S.H.I.E.L.D has the perfectly trained spy on their hands.

Character Plans: Since there is no SHIELD, Natasha will begrudgingly fall into the "civilian" lifestyle. She will get a job as a personal assistant, much like how she became one to Tony Stark and eventually Pepper Potts. She will operate under her real name which will be a strange sensation to her because she will seemingly be in a place where no one knows who she is. She'll eventually crack though because Natasha needs chaos in her life as much as she loves order and control.

Appearance/PB: Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff

[A video begins to play over the Network and you're looking up at a red-headed woman who is panting heavily and - most certainly - in the Darkness.]

I thought the Greeter was bullshitting me, to be honest. [Is she really having a conversation while she's running away from a monster? There's nothing else to the video as she dodges a few more monsters. It seems like nearly five minutes pass until the video finally reveals light and an air-tight door shutting in the background with a hiss. Natasha's face is covered in a thin film of sweat.]

So what's this place all about? I knew something was off from that cheery greeting I got this afternoon and the really nice packet I got with the apartment. You can only fool so many people with pretty stationary and big bold headers.

Third Person Sample

The Greeter went on and on about why Natasha came here which didn't seem like much of an answer to begin with. They talked about something called the Core and that it had pulled Natasha from her reality. While Thor had left with Loki and the tesseract, Natasha was weary about what this all really was. Loki was a trickster, capable of turning Agent Barton into one of his pawns. She really wouldn't be surprised if he'd formed this world himself as some kind of redemption for Natasha making a fool of him in the helicarrier. If this was, she didn't regret her actions one bit; seeing the look on his face brought a smug air to her in that instant.

Clint - where was he? And Fury? Hell, she'd even take Stark at this point. While she could work very well on her own, working with SHIELD had conditioned her to never be without these people. It looked like she was going to have go to solo until she found them as well. Natasha thanked the Greeter and took her welcome packet up to her free apartment. Once inside, she was reminded of the post-Soviet Union apartments she often frequented in her early years. It wasn't really dirty, but it wasn't ideal either. Worn down; that was it. Natasha closed and locked the door. She made herself at home on the couch and opened the packet. She was going to start this as any new mission - get briefed on her own before going out and canvassing the island.

First, though, she needed to check something. Without much of a second thought, Natasha reaches into the pocket of her jacket and takes out her cell phone. Except it certainly isn't the cell phone she'd been carrying in Central Park. She unlocked the screen with a quick flick of her thumb and found the contacts page. It was completely empty. Clint's number wasn't there and neither was Coulson's, which she'd kept in there despite him having passed. Natasha chewed on the inside of her lip before returning to the menu. There was a strange icon on the front page. She hit it. A page immediately opened up and she began to read it.

Posts. Other people making contact, people she didn't know. Natasha played some of the videos, remembering bits and pieces of the people behind them. There were a set of words that a number of them repeated - Newcomers, Darkness, and sirens. Natasha made a note of these words before closing out of the program. She began to sift through the paperwork, wondering if any of these keywords would make an appearance. Her eyes darted around the pages as she pieced things together. So she was very much in the real world for the exception of something called the Darkness that the city warned the arrival of with the use of sirens.

Natasha may have just come from New York City where she had to fight off a whole alien invasion and a demi-god, but this was a little too hard to swallow. She looked back at her phone. The only way she could make sense of it all would be those people. Ask questions, take names. This may have been unfamiliar territory, but she'd use familiar tactics to understand it.
